It is said that in ancient times there was a mountain called Ape Mountain, where a kingdom known as the Ape Kingdom once existed. In this kingdom lived a rare white ape, whom the people revered as a deity and called the Ape God. The citizens worshipped it day and night, praying for peace and protection. Recently, rumors began to spread that the Ape God had grown furious and would no longer protect the Ape Kingdom. At the same time, the king of the Ape Kingdom fell gravely ill, leaving the people anxious and fearful. In order to calm the public, the king sought help from Master Yanyi, the head of Taiji Village, asking him to investigate the truth behind the rumors. Master Yanyi then dispatched his disciple Xuancheng to travel to the Ape Kingdom and uncover the mystery hidden behind these events.
