An awkward team of high school karate underdogs, led by their washed-up, boozy sensei, must uncover the secret past of their best fighter to challenge the seemingly unbeatable champions in the ruthless Million Dollar Karate War tournament.
In the high-stakes world of competitive karate, The Bearded Dragons—a fearsome, elite team—dominate the legendary Million Dollar Karate War. But this year, the spotlight shifts to an unlikely group: a ragtag team of misfit teens from Eastwood High, led by a washed-up sensei with questionable methods and a mysterious past. As the underdogs stumble through training, one student, Jason, begins to show flashes of a forgotten legacy tied to their eccentric mentor. With determination, heart, and a few wildly unorthodox tactics, this mismatched crew enters the ultimate tournament, facing unbeatable odds—and The Bearded Dragon themselves. Packed with action, comedy, and unexpected heart, The Karate War is a wild underdog story where honor, glory, and one million dollars are all on the line.
