Martial arts action star Gary Daniels headlines as James Thayer, a skilled underground kickboxer whose life is upended when he is targeted and recruited by a secretive faction of the DEA. The agency is desperate to clamp down on "Kick," a dangerous and highly addictive new designer drug flooding the streets. Thayer is soon caught in a dizzying spiral of espionage when he learns that the ruthless mastermind behind the drug distribution ring is none other than his own former martial arts sensei, Kenji Nakata. To complicate matters further, the federal operation is quietly overseen by corrupt high-level elements within law enforcement, including a shadowy official played by David Carradine.
