Six astronauts are stranded in space with only one escape pod, capable of carrying just one person.
Marooned light-years from Earth after a routine nuclear-waste disposal run, a crew of six astronauts—starring Richard Norton, Don Stroud, Lynn-Holly Johnson, James Van Patten, and Ron O'Neal—awaken from cryogenic sleep to find their vessel crippled and dangerously low on fuel. With onboard systems failing and the corporate mission compromised, the realization sets in that the remaining escape shuttle holds enough resources for only one person. As lingering bonds of friendship disintegrate under the crushing pressure of deep-space isolation, the crew turns on each other in a psychological war of paranoia, sabotage, and deception. Complicating matters further are menacing external forces, including encounters with deadly onboard threats featuring special appearances by wrestling icons Professor Toru Tanaka and Big John Studd. In this high-stakes battle for survival reminiscent of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, alliances shatter overnight as paranoia mounts, leaving the crew to ask who can be trusted when only a single ticket home remains.
