A savvy Detective and his partner attempt to unravel the mysterious death of a prominent Senator while simultaneously navigating his insanely quirky siblings and their fierce appetites for their deceased fathers millions.
The story unfolds inside an opulent, grand manor during what is supposed to be a high-profile family gathering. The evening takes a dark and sudden turn when Senator Andrew Rutherford collapses mid-meal, having been poisoned by cyanide-laced soup. Savvy veteran detective Noah Rafferty (played by Michael Paré) and his eager newcomer partner Isaiah Baker (played by Wendell Kinney) arrive at the scene to investigate. Things quickly spiral out of control when a raging storm outside washes away the only path to the outside world, trapping everyone inside with the killer. As the detectives attempt to untangle the web of lies, they must navigate a household overflowing with motives. The Senator’s eccentric, cutthroat, and fiercely competitive siblings are far more concerned with securing their piece of their recently deceased father’s multi-million dollar fortune than mourning. With the body count rising past one and everyone acting as a suspect, the detectives face a race against time to figure out the culprit before the killer strikes again.
