Life hasn’t worked out the way Carl Johnson expected it to.
Life hasn’t worked out the way Carl Johnson expected it to. His marriage is on the rocks, his boss has given him twenty-four hours to empty out his office, and he doesn’t know how to even begin fixing the mess he’s made with his selfish, misguided choices. Retreating from his problems, Carl buries himself in an anthology of short stories, each one with a protagonist who has made a choice and must live with its outcome. Now Carl must let the moral of each story guide him in his own decisions before he runs out of time to salvage what’s left of his own life.
