Genre drama, horror, supernatural
In 1973, a young man haunted by his brother's death goes missing in the woods, but finds shelter with a hermit hungry for visitors.
Chased by the memory of letting his twin brother Daniel serve alone in Vietnam, where he went missing in action, seminary student David "Boston" Waters gets lost in the woods on his way to a music festival. He finds shelter with Tom, friendly farmer harboring a cannibalistic secret performing occult rituals to resurrect his dead son, who forces David to translate strange Latin texts alongside Salem, an Indigenous woman he's taken captive. As the ritual to breach the boundary between life and death draws near, David and Salem must each choose: succumb to a comforting unreality, or face a brutal truth alone.
