Now she is dead too, and the solicitor's letter says the house can only be kept or sold if all three agree in person. They agree to three days. The house has other ideas. INHERITANCE is a Gothic horror film built on a foundation of family pathology rather than supernatural mythology — the horror mechanics emerge from the house's architecture of secrets rather than any external force.
